Jennie’s "Fallen Angel" looks beautiful, dreamlike and almost otherworldly on the surface.
But underneath it, there is something much more human happening.
In this video, I explore the hidden meaning behind the imagery, the children, the searching, the fire, and the strange sense that Jennie is moving through different versions of herself.
For me, the video speaks to what happens when parts of us get left behind through pain, growing up, survival, and becoming who we needed to become.
We keep moving forward.
But sometimes, a younger part of us is still waiting somewhere inside us to be found.
And that is what makes the ending of Fallen Angel so powerful.
This is not just an analysis of a music video.
It is a reflection on identity, inner child wounds, soul fragmentation, and the parts of ourselves we spend years trying to find again.
If you have ever felt successful, capable, or outwardly grown — but still sensed that something in you was missing — this may speak to you.
