The grey background from last week's painting inspired me so much that I decided to use it as the starting point again in this video. Ever since my creative journey began almost three and a half years ago with fluid art, I've become accustomed to working with pigments, glimmers, and subtle light-catching effects. That love for shimmer and depth has naturally found its way into my brushwork as well. Composition, flow, movement, depth, smooth transitions, and the way light interacts with a painting are all essential elements of abstract art. They are what make it both fascinating and challenging. I usually begin with an idea or a quick sketch, but after just a few brushstrokes, the process becomes completely intuitive. I respond to what the materials are doing, how they react, and how I can use those reactions to enhance the painting. Every canvas seems to guide me in a different direction. By taking creative risks and experimenting with new ideas, I continue to discover unexpected effects and new possibilities. Once again, this painting reminded me that this creative journey is truly an amazing adventure.
