Welcome back to Donna’s Sewing Circle and Part 3 of 7 of our Quilt With Me: Sunbonnet Sue Quilt Series! 🌸🧵 Today our Sunbonnet Sues are really coming to life! In this lesson, we’re going to appliqué each Sunbonnet Sue onto her 9" x 9" background block. If you’ve never done appliqué before, this is a wonderful place to start. I’ll walk you through the process step by step as we stitch around our little girls and permanently attach them to their blocks. Don’t worry about making every stitch perfect—we’re learning together, building our skills, and enjoying the process! Once all 16 Sunbonnet Sues are appliquéd, we’ll be one big step closer to putting our quilt top together.
