According to Pete Davidson, GRWM videos are the worst thing on the internet… But why is ‘women's internet culture’ so often dismissed as pointless, embarrassing or a waste of time? From beauty influencers to domestic content, online friendships and female creators, we’re constantly being told that the things we enjoy watching and making online are somehow less valuable.

Today we’re talking about the double standards surrounding women on social media, the history of dismissing women's interests, the rise of manfluencers, and the complicated relationship we have with influencer culture.
