JAPAN VS INDIA WAS STRANGE !!

India almost avoided a massive upset by Japan, as they secured a win in the historic one-off T20I by just 2 runs. Electing to bat first, India were rocked by the Japan spinners as they scored only 32/4 inside five overs. They only managed two boundaries, as the batters struggled on a sluggish track. Abhishek Sharma departed for a golden duck, while Sanju Samson and Ishan Kishan scored 9 and 3 respectively. Shreyas Iyer top scored with 16 runs. Japan bowled all five overs of spin. Charlie Hara-Hinze was the pick of the bowlers with two wickets. Ibrahim Takahashi and Benjamin Ito-Davis picked up one wicket each. India also maintained discipline by bowling all five overs of spin on this sluggish track. Despite a slow start, Japan managed to get back into the game with some boundaries and good running between the wickets. However, Axar Patel maintained his composure in the final over while defending 8 runs. India restricted Japan to 30/3, with Washington Sundar picking up two wickets.
