Citroën C2 R2 Max FWD Rally Car in action: 1.6L 4-Cylinder w/ 5-Speed Sequential Gearbox Sound

This video is about the little C2 built and modified by Citroën back in 2008, in order to receive the homologation and be raced in the rally R2 class. It is powered by a 1.6.liter, naturally-aspirated 4-cylinder engine able to produce around 190 hp at 7,750 rpm and 175 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm, with a red line placed at 8,400 rpm. The C2 R2 Max has a minimum weight of 1,030 kg (Front/rear - 63/37%). The gearbox is a 5-speed sequential. Watch it in action around the little, yet techincal Castelletto Circuit during the 2020 Challenge Valpolcevera, a Formula Challenge race organized by Scuderia Valpolcevera, fielded by Collecchio Corse team and driven by Milo Pregheffi, who I'm generally used to record behind the wheel of a screaming Subrau Impreza GC8. Formula Challenge is an Italian series taking place on permanent circuits or on arranged ones (dirt, tarmac or mixed). Races are chase races and against the clock in which the cars start at preset intervals. The type of the circuit must be such as to provide an average speed not over 80 km/h.
