The Throne Spud Tour 2026 heads to BOONE, NC to experience App State Mountaineers football. Specifically, a Thursday night showdown against undefeated JMU at Kidd Brewer Stadium. Kidd Brewer might be the most scenic stadium in college football. The Rock sits tucked into the Blue Ridge Mountains at peak fall color, and from the outside it looks peaceful, even quiet. But when 30,000 fans pack in for a night game, it turns into a pressure cooker. Add a 7-0 JMU team that beat App State 58-10 last year, and this was the biggest home game in Boone in years.
