Key Combos & Powerful Interactions Mightform Harmonizer + Icetill Explorer / Any Creature + Fetch Lands Play Harmonizer on a creature, then play fetch lands (Fabled Passage / Escape Tunnel). Each fetch doubles the creature's power multiple times. With unblockable (from Escape Tunnel) or trample (from Earthbender Ascension), this can deal 20–32+ damage in one attack. Sapling Nursery + Fetch Lands Every land drop (especially fetches) creates multiple Treefolk tokens. In long games you can make 10+ tokens easily and overwhelm the opponent. Earthbender Ascension + Mightform Harmonizer Ascension gives counters and trample, Harmonizer doubles power. Together they turn any creature into a lethal trampling monster. Badgermole Cub + Landfall Payoffs Cub fetches lands while triggering everything else, accelerating your whole plan. Mono-Green Landfall with Sapling Nursery is in a very strong position right now. It is one of the most popular and successful archetypes in Standard after Lorwyn Eclipsed. It has hundreds of recorded decks, regularly hits 5-0 in leagues, takes 1st places in Challenges and RCQs, and has posted winrates around 54–65% depending on the event (with some Regional Championships showing over 64% winrate). It is especially good on the Arena ladder because it punishes slow or greedy decks and rewards consistent land drops. Matchups it plays well against (favorable, 55–70%+): Control decks (Azorius Control, Jeskai Control, Esper Control): Excellent. Sapling Nursery lets you create an endless stream of Treefolk tokens that control decks struggle to answer. You outgrind them with ramp and tokens while your big creatures or combo turns close the game. Fetch lands trigger everything multiple times, and Earthbender Ascension gives trample so they can't just block forever. Midrange decks (Rakdos Monument, Golgari, Dimir Midrange): Very strong. Your landfall engine grows faster than their value plan. You can race with pumped creatures or grind them out with tokens. Sideboard Torpor Orb and Lantern help against any ETB or graveyard strategies. Token or go-wide aggro (Mono-White Shepherd, Boros Tokens): Good if you stabilize. Your tokens and big tramplers can block or race, and Sapling Nursery makes even more bodies. Slower combo or ramp mirrors: You usually win the long game because your tokens and recursion are very consistent. Matchups it plays poorly against (unfavorable or even, 45–50%): Super-fast aggro (Mono-Red or hyper-aggressive decks): Can be tough if they kill you before you set up ramp and Sapling Nursery. You need to hit early Elves and land drops to survive the first few turns. Heavy counterspell control with bounce or exile (some Azorius or Simic builds): If they bounce your enchantments or exile your key creatures before you go off, it slows you down. Still winnable with good sideboarding (Torpor Orb, extra protection). Mirror matches or decks that go over the top with one giant threat: Sometimes your wall of tokens doesn't matter if the opponent has a single 100-power Hydra or an unanswerable bomb. In these games you try to make 2–3 big tokens, sacrifice Nursery for protection, and push damage when you can. Overall feel: The deck feels safe and consistent in the current meta. It is not the absolute fastest deck, but it is one of the hardest to stop once it gets going. It punishes greedy mana bases and slow strategies (very common right now because of Dimir Excruciator and control). On the ladder it climbs easily because most games go long enough for your engine to take over. In tournaments it does best in BO3 where sideboarding (especially graveyard hate and protection) makes the bad matchups much better.
