MSC Virtuosa: Cite De La Mer, Cherbourg | European Cruise Part 2 | June & July 24

Hello everybody and welcome to our new vlog series! From Saturday 29th June to Thursday 4th July 2024 we went on a 5 night Northern European cruise aboard the MSC Virtuosa, which was our third ever cruise (following on from our Disney Dream cruise in 2022 and the P&O Iona cruise to Norway in July 2023, both series' can be found in our playlists, for a shameless plug!). This week's vlog is day 2, from Cherbourg in France. After late, relaxing start to the day as we had no set plans or excursions, we left the ship and just a few feet from the entrance / exit of the dock was La Cite De La Mer ( The City of the Sea), a brilliant museum-come-exhibit of the sea including a huge aquarium section, Le Redoutable which is the largest ex-working submarine open to the public, and a unique interactive display in tribute to the RMS Titanic that left Cherbourg just 5 days before hitting the iceberg and sinking. After our time ashore we show a little more of the ship, mainly the tasty offerings in Jean Phillipe Chocolate and Bar and dining in the Kaito Sushi Bar Thank you so much to everyone who has watched us, 'liked' the vlogs, subscribed or commented - we really appreciate every one of you!
