My Music Audition Recording Season as a Senior in High School!

| The Practice Room Ep. 13 | In today's episode, I take you through my whole music audition recording season of my senior year of high school! This was a crazy ride! Originally, I planned to post this right after a graduated high school, but my editing software decided to be a pain and not export my video. So, keep in mind this video has been in the works for 10 months since I posted this video! In total, I might've spent 40 hrs filming, editing, and exporting this video! I really hope this can give you some insight of what a recording season looks like. During this time, I was also doing my high school's marching band, AYWS (Atlanta Youth Wind Symphony), ASYO (Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra), auditioning for honor bands (District, All-State, and NYO), and couple of other side ensembles/projects (YouTube, Instagram, Chamber Rep, Composing, and Competitions). Yes, you can do all of these things while auditioning for colleges; HOWEVER, it takes a bit more time and effort to do all of these things. The colleges I auditioned for: IU (Indiana University) - Jacobs School of Music UMICH (University of Michigan) - SMTD (School of Music, Theatre, & Dance) UT Austin (University of Texas at Austin) - Butler School of Music UGA (University of Georgia) - Hugh Hodgson School of Music FSU (Florida State University) - College of Music Schools Auditioned: 5 Schools Accepted: 5/5 Attending: IU (Indiana University) - Jacobs School of Music I got accepted to all 5 schools I audition for! Huge thank you to my parents for supporting me through this whole audition process (coming with me for all my auditions)! I really praise God for his blessings and faithfulness during my senior year of high school! I give all the glory and praise to Him!
