The LANGDALE PIKE Loop - Bagging 6 Wainwrights in a Day - Walking the Wainwrights #1

This week we are back in the Lake District with Chris (MCM Outdoors) and Phil (R6 Phil Outdoor Enthusiast) for a spot of Wainwright bagging on the Langdale Pikes. Despite having completed a number previously I've decided to complete all 214 Wainwrights from scratch, starting in the Langdales, and bring you all along with me... Heading off from the New Dungeon Ghyll Hotel, we ascend the steep climb from the valley floor and are hit with strong winds before summiting 6 Wainwrights...namely :- Loft Crag, Pike of Stickle, Harrison Stickle, Thunacar Knot, High Raise and finally Sergeant Man. ... before heading back down via Stickle Tarn and hitting both the New and Old Hotels for a well earned beer.
