Got Grandma Shakin' It Round the Apartment | ep 1 | Vintage Soul Funk Playlist

Some grooves just get your soul out of its seat. The sun is loud, the sky is deep cobalt, and even the giant statues in the park start to shake. This playlist is made for exactly that feeling. Expect punchy vintage drums, a bouncing fingerstyle bass, warm Rhodes, a tight horn section and husky soul vocals with falsetto harmonies, with a cheeky giant mosaic character for every track: a grandma in hair rollers, a flamingo on keytar, a sloth in a disco suit and plenty more. Press play, turn it up and let your soul dance.
