For a while, I felt like I'd forgotten who I was — lost somewhere in all the responsibilities and tasks that pile up in life. Lately I started waking up around 4am — originally just to hit the gym and not feel rushed before work. But what I found in that early, quiet hour surprised me. When the sun's not out, nobody's awake, and nothing's pulling at you, there's finally space to think your own thoughts. The clarity, the reflection on where I actually am and where I want to go — it's the first time in a long while I've felt like I'm reconnecting with myself. Honestly, like reconnecting with the 20-year-old me. I don't think you have to wake up at 4am to get this. But I do think we all need some completely uninterrupted, almost sacred time to hear ourselves — because most of us are too busy, too tired, and too distracted to ever get that quiet. For me, it turned out to be 4am. Yours might be somewhere else. Just something I've been realizing lately, and wanted to share.
