Periodic signals like square waves can be decomposed via the Fourier Series into a sum of sinusoids or complex exponentials with frequencies that are multiples of the signal’s fundamental frequency. This video shows how we use the linearity of LTI systems to determine the system output when such a periodic signal is passed to an LTI system.
