Hiking, Camping, Surfing at Raft Cove

The three boys decided last minute to do something we'd be eyeing up for ages. On the very North-Western tip of Vancouver island theres a remote beach with surfable waves (a rarity in BC). All you have to do is drive 10 hours and hike through the forrest with your boards - easy. We took off on a Friday afternoon and were back home by Sunday night, making it our most over-the-top travel weekend ever, but it was worth every second in that car for the magic of what we found at the end of the road.
