NEW Rush and Speed March 2026 BLIND BANLIST REACTION! They hit NIBIRU??? Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Links!

For anyone new to my channel, I am Crimson Reaper 5, the community's most well known Altergeist main and this channel is dedicated to everything Duel Links and Altergeist related. If you have any questions about the deck, feel free to ask and I'll answer. I've been playing Altergeists since 2017 when they first came out in the Circuit Break booster pack so I have 9 years experience on the deck (as of 2026) and counting! Altergeist is truly a fun deck and I look forward to teaching new viewers how the deck works, how to play it, what the optimal combos are, and how to climb with Altergeists. In this video, I am doing my blind banlist reaction to the new March 2026 post Goha Rush Festival banlist. While granted, this banlist was more-so focused around Rush Duels, Konami did hit some stuff on the Speed Duel side. Is this enough to change up the format? Maybe, but I'm not sure. A lot of stuff was unlimited on the Speed Duel side, with Orcust being a huge one, but I don't think it's enough to truly shake up the format. I think what Speed Duel truly needs right now for a meta shakeup is a new box, which we should be getting soon before my birthday on April 5th. If you enjoyed this video, drop a sub if you're new, comment below, follow on Twitch, and stay tuned for more. My birthday is coming up soon on April 5th so definitely do sub if you'd like to help grow the channel as an early birthday present for me and help me achieve my dream of growing as a good Altergeist YouTuber! Intertwining Memories → Its second effect was buffed to where you no longer have to shuffle a card from hand to deck or discard a card to the graveyard. 2. Barian's Chaos Draw → This was buffed to where you no longer have to reveal a level 4, 5, 8, or 9 monster or a Spell card. Instead, you can now return any card from hand to deck, or discard it, to draw two cards. 3. Sun God's Flare → The first effect was buffed to where you aren't locked into Divine-Beast and Aqua on your opponent's turn, thus freeing up access to run Nibiru in this deck. In addition, you can now activate this Skill if you control a Divine-Beast monster OR if your opponent controls a monster (instead of ONLY your opponent controlling a monster), thus letting you play through disruption easier. RUSH DUEL SKILL CHANGES: 1. Hard Rock Overture → Skill no longer applies the minus 1,000 Defense penalty to monsters placed on the field by its effect. It also now allows you to add a Level 7 OR 8 monster from your graveyard to your hand from turn 2 onward (previously only Level 8). This Skill also now allows your level 7 and higher monsters attack directly once per turn, as opposed to not being able to attack directly at all. Connect with me!
