Labuan Bajo Travel Guide | 3 Days Exploring Komodo Islands, Pink Beach & Flores, Indonesia Welcome to my Labuan Bajo adventure! In this vlog, I take you along on a full 3-day journey covering everything from hidden caves and island hopping to dragons, sunsets, and amazing stays. 🌴 What you’ll see in this video: • Rangko Cave — swimming in a hidden freshwater cave deep inside the rocks • Padar Island hike at dawn with insane panoramic views • Pink Beach — that rare pink sand beach made from coral fragments • Komodo Island — meeting the legendary Komodo dragons • Manta Point + Taka Makassar — marine life + scenic sandbars • My boat life: dorm rooms, common areas, and onboard dinners • Recommended stays & vegetarian food spots in Labuan Bajo ✈️ How I Got There: I took a flight with ‪@airasia‬ from Hyderabad India, with a short layover in Kuala Lumpur, and then landed in Labuan Bajo. The whole journey was super smooth — from check-in to transit — and it truly set the perfect start for this trip. 🚤 Boat Tour Details in Labuan Bajo • Many tours are 1-day trips by fast boat. You can visit up to 6 Komodo National Park spots in one day — places like Padar, Pink Beach, Komodo Island, Manta Point, etc. • The 1-day tour usually starts around 6:00 AM and finishes around 4:00 PM (~10 hours) when doing a full loop. • For more immersive experiences, there are 3-day / 2-night liveaboard tours. These let you stay on the boat, visit many islands, do snorkeling, trekking, etc. 🗺️ Extra Info & Tips (Beyond the vlog): • Best time to visit: April to December is usually dry; avoid heavy rains between January and March. • How to get there: The main airport is Komodo International Airport (LBJ) just outside town. • Boat tours are key: Most visitors explore via guided boat tours that bundle together island-hopping, snorkeling, park entrance fees, and meals. • Stay options: Labuan Bajo has a wide range of accommodations, from budget dorms to luxury resorts. Many have great sea views and easy access to the harbor. • Climate & weather: Tropical climate with dry & wet seasons — plan accordingly. 🙏 A few friendly tips before you go: • Carry cash because many local services don’t accept cards • Use waterproof phone or camera cases during snorkeling or cave visits • Wear non-slip water shoes for caves and island trails • Start early (pre-dawn) for Padar to avoid crowds and midday heat • Respect nature — don’t leave trash behind; the islands need protection 🗓️ 3-Day Labuan Bajo Itinerary Day 1 • Arrive in Labuan Bajo • Check in to stay (Loccal Collection / Seaesta Komodo / De Nata Hostel) • Explore the local market or enjoy sunset by the harbor Day 2 • Start 2D1N island-hopping tour • Kelor Island – short hike + snorkeling with baby sharks • Manjarite Island – snorkeling spot • Kalong Island – sunset & flying foxes • Dinner & overnight stay on the boat Day 3 • Early morning hike to Padar Island • Visit Pink Beach • Komodo Island – see the Komodo dragons • Manta Point & Taka Makassar • Sail back to Labuan Bajo #FlyAirAsia #AirAsiaTravelerSquad2025 #LabuanBajo #Komodolsland #IndonesiaTravel #LabuanBajoltinerary #IslandHopping #TravelVlogIndonesia #KomodoDragons #LabuanBajoBoatTour #IndonesiaVlog #FloresIsland #safarnamawithanu
