Welcome to our Space and Time themed Golu 2026! Step into a divine journey through the cosmos and epochs with our elaborate diorama depicting the 14 Lokas and the 4 Yugas. The 14 Lokas (Space)
Housed inside a magnificent 10-foot handmade cosmic egg (Brahmanda), our display features:
The 7 Upper Lokas: Starting from Bhoo Loka (featuring Jambudweepa and Meru at the center with concentric oceans and dvipas), through Bhuvah Loka (handmade Yakshas) and Suva Loka (devathas including Varuna, Vayu, and Agni), up to Satya Loka. Experience the spiritual elevation highlighted by ambient pranayama mantras and light patterns culminating in the chanting of the Gayathri mantra.
The 7 Lower Lokas: Spanning Atala, Vitala, Sutala, Talala, Mahatala, Rasatala, and Patala Loka—notably featuring the five-headed Vasuki snake adorned with pearls and jewelry.
Vishnu Loka & Shiva Loka: Located outside the cosmic realm, witness Vaikuntam with a multi-headed Adishesha snake, water projector effects, and lotus ponds with "Om Namo Narayana" chants, alongside Kailasam featuring Shiva ganas and chanting of "Om Namah Shivaya."
Celestial Flying Deities: Dynamic displays of Vishnu on Garuda (with a unique pulley system), Muruga on his peacock, Durga on her lion, Saraswathi on her swan, and Hanuman in flight, surrounded by elaborate floral decorations.
The 4 Yugas (Time)
At the center stands a 3-foot rotating Kala Chakra symbolizing the cyclic nature of time, accompanied by Srimad Bhagavatam shlokas and chanting. Explore the four ages:
Satya Yuga (Golden Age): Features the two-footed hand-painted thermocol Matsya Avatara pulling a boat, Dakshinamurthy as acharya, the Dharma bull standing firm on all four legs, alongside Kurma, Varaha, Vamana, and Narasimha avataras.
Tretha Yuga (Silver Age): Features Dattatreya as acharya, the Dharma bull standing on 3 legs (with the leg of Tapas broken by pride and luxury), Parasurama, and elaborate Rama Avatara scenes including the Pushpaka Vimana, Kumbakarna, and Ravana.
Dwapara Yuga (Bronze Age): Features Vyaas as acharya, the Dharma bull standing on 2 legs (with Shaucha broken by desire and attachment), Balarama, and Krishna Avatara scenes including Govardhana Giri, Kamsa Mardhana, Draupadi Vastra Haranam, the Mahabharatha war, and Vishwarupa Darshanam.
Kali Yuga (Iron Age): Features Adi Shankaracharya as acharya, Buddha avatara, the Dharma bull standing on just 1 leg (with Daya broken by cruelty and violence), Kalki avatara, a Venkateshwara temple, and a diorama of evil characters.
