Six quarterbacks go in the top nine as Joe and Ryan connect the 2027 draft class with potential NFL team fits. The Miami Dolphins open this mock draft by selecting Ohio State wide receiver Jeremiah Smith at No. 1. The Tennessee Titans take Texas quarterback Arch Manning, followed by Oklahoma State quarterback Drew Mestemaker to the Arizona Cardinals. The Cleveland Browns select Ole Miss quarterback Trinidad Chambliss, while the New York Jets begin their three-pick first round with Miami quarterback Darian Mensah. Defense comes next with Notre Dame cornerback Leonard Moore to the New York Giants and Clemson cornerback Ashton Hampton to the Carolina Panthers. The Atlanta Falcons and Pittsburgh Steelers then return to the quarterback market, selecting Oregon’s Dante Moore and Notre Dame’s CJ Carr. Those selections make quarterback prospects a major storyline in this 2027 NFL Draft breakdown. Joe and Ryan give the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Indiana wide receiver Charlie Becker and pair Arizona State receiver Reed Harris with the Las Vegas Raiders. Texas edge rusher Colin Simmons lands with the Los Angeles Chargers, while LSU tight end Trey’Dez Green goes to the Washington Commanders in these first-round projections. Using the Colts’ selection on this mock board, the Jets add Mississippi State cornerback Kelley Jones. The Dallas Cowboys use the Packers’ pick on LSU offensive tackle Jordan Seaton. South Carolina edge rusher Dylan Stewart follows to the New Orleans Saints, Alabama edge Yhonzae Pierre goes to the New England Patriots, and Texas tackle Trevor Goosby lands with the Houston Texans. The Jets’ third selection, via the Cowboys, is Ole Miss receiver Deuce Alexander. Oregon tight end Jamari Johnson joins the Minnesota Vikings in this mock, while Ole Miss defensive tackle Will Echoles goes to the Chicago Bears. The Denver Broncos add Florida running back Jadan Baugh, bringing another offensive playmaker into the first-round conversation. The Cincinnati Bengals select Georgia cornerback Ellis Robinson before the Jacksonville Jaguars take Iowa tackle Trevor Lauck. Notre Dame safety Brauntae Johnson goes to the Detroit Lions, and Minnesota interior offensive lineman Greg Johnson is the Philadelphia Eagles’ selection. Iowa tight end DJ Vonnahme lands with the Kansas City Chiefs, followed by Iowa center Kade Pieper to the San Francisco 49ers. Louisville edge rusher Clev Lubin goes to the Seattle Seahawks, and Notre Dame interior lineman Anthonie Knapp joins the Baltimore Ravens.
