Rio Grande Southern 20: A Grande Return to Durango

For the first time ever, Tristan Rail Productions visits one of the most spectacular railroads in the United States, the Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad! This year for something different, a special visitor from the Colorado Railroad Museum is operating at the D&S, and it's none other then Rio Grande Southern 4-6-0 T-19 No.20. No.20 was built in 1899 by the Schenectady Locomotive Works, today operating at over 125 years old! For the first time since the 1950s, No.20 returns to Durango since her days on the Rio Grande Southern. In the month of January and early Feb, No.20 would pull special excursions from Durango, Co to Cascade Canyon and return. In this video we capture this narrow gauge relic strut it's stuff up grade on the Silverton Branch. No.20 put on a fantastic show, and we are even suprised with a few photo runbys at the D&S Highline! Come along, as we see No.20 work hard, as she is indeed home...
