Letters to an Old Country - a MDT Documentary Impact Challenge participant project

In Letters to an Old Country, Andre Teixeira explores the challenges, attitudes and desires of Portuguese nationals who have settled in the Netherlands, many arriving as students who built up a life in their new country - how are the attitudes towards home, would they return, are they happy here? Through our Maatschappelijke Diensttijd Documentary Impact Challenge, participants learn all about documentary filmmaking: conception, capturing B-Roll & interviews, lighting, interview techniques, audio capture, post production, etc. and they use these skills to go out and film documentaries.
