And we happened to attend one of these events during a walk along Mainkai. Traditionally, various sports competitions are held on the Main embankment at the end of June. This time, long-distance runners demonstrated their abilities. During these last days of June, the air temperature in Frankfurt reached +35 degrees. But despite the heat, spectators and athletes were involved in the competition process. Many city residents came simply to relax on the lawn on the banks of the Main. This sporting event was accompanied by music, various games for visitors, a fair of sporting goods, and food stalls.
