He Fooled Hitler… and Hitler Gave Him a Medal!

How did a man who secretly worked against Nazi Germany end up receiving a medal from Hitler himself? This is the true story of Juan Pujol García, the Spanish double agent known as Garbo. During World War II, he built an entire network of imaginary spies and fed German intelligence false information. His greatest deception came before D-Day in 1944, when his reports helped convince the Germans that the Normandy landings were only a distraction, and that the main Allied attack would come at Calais. The deception worked so well that Hitler awarded Pujol the Iron Cross, never realizing who he was really working for. How did one man manage to fool Nazi intelligence on such a scale? And what made his story one of the most remarkable spy operations of World War II? Watch the full story to find out. #JuanPujol #WorldWarII #History
