We lost one of our favorite Fox Body Mustangs one foggy October morning — and I'm showing what’s left. This was my little dream car — a clean, one-owner four-cylinder car I bought back in 2005 for about $1,500, restored, and enjoyed for years. After an early morning drive home in fog and rain it hit a tree and the front end was crushed, the roof buckled, and the back glass blew out. No one was seriously hurt, but the car was done for the street.
In this 12-minute walkaround I show what it looked like before the wreck, what the damage looks like today after years sitting outside, what panels are still straight, and why it might still have life as a donor for a tube-chassis race build. If you love ford mustang , classic cars , mustang barn find stories, and real-world garage build decisions, this one is for you.
What would you do — let it go to a racer for sheet metal and VIN, or hold onto it?
