THIS ENDS NOW!!!!!! Last stream, we returned to Wyrm's Crossing to go confront Gortash and get his stone! When we entered his stronghold, we were greeted by a couple of straggler flaming fists that we took out no problem. We went upstairs to the room where we first met Gortash where there were even more soldiers waiting for us! This battle was a little tougher as there were traps and grenade launchers everywhere kinda jacking us up, but we handled these fools as well! After we made it to where Gortash was hiding, he didn't even have anything to say to us, he just immediately attacked! Took his ass out pretty quick too! We now finally had all the nether stones as Karlach began to have a mental breakdown as she realized that revenge wouldn't save her from her inevitable death. We try to comfort her as best we can, but she's definitely going through it right now! It was now time to fight the Elder Brain so we headed back down into the sewers and into that secret Bhaal entrance. This is supposedly where the brain was being held! We took a little boat that floated us to the underground of the upper city. We were able to locate the brain, and did our best to use the stones to fight it, but the brain was simply much too powerful! Right before we were about to be turned into mind flayers for good, Balduran steps in to teleport us back to the astral plane! He then tries to convince me to give him the nether stones, but I still don't trust the dude. We opted to free Orpheus instead, angering Balduran to the point that he just decides to side with the Elder Brain! Honestly, I'm pretty sure he was working with the brain this whole time but whatever! After some deliberation with Orpheus, he agrees to sacrifice himself and become a mind flayer so that we can continue on with our plan to destroy the brain! He also asks us to kill him after we're done! When we reach the upper city, the massive war to end wars is already underway as we're greeted by an absolute hoard of our allies! They all express their gratitude to us as I give them a motivational speech before we all head into battle! We had a giant fight in a courtyard, taking out many flayers, and now we're about to enter another building! We've tried so hard and got so far!
