Sunday, September 13 — Rest in God's Presence Today | Morning Prayer for Peace & Renewal ☀️🙏 Have you ever woken up already tired? You slept, and yet something deeper in you never stopped working. Your mind kept solving problems in the dark. Your heart kept rehearsing conversations that already ended. There is a rest that sleep cannot give you, and it is found in one place only — in the presence of God. 🙏 "Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the Lord hath dealt bountifully with thee." — Psalm 116:7 Notice the word return. David did not tell his soul to find rest, as though rest were something new. He told his soul to come back to a place it already knew. Rest was never a location. It was a Person.
