Exploring Wells Market, Bishop's Palace Gardens & Burrow Mump

Welcome to Day 3 of our Somerset holiday. Today we’re heading into the beautiful historic city of Wells. We take a stroll through the bustling market in search of the elusive scotch eggs, before wandering through the peaceful, tranquil grounds of the Bishop’s Palace Gardens. In the evening, we head out to the legendary Burrow Mump, a solitary hill rising above the Somerset Levels topped with the ruins of St Michael’s Church. We climbed to the summit hoping to catch a golden sunset over the landscape... but the British weather had other plans! Even under cloudy skies, it’s a deeply atmospheric and peaceful spot to wrap up another wonderful day of adventure. Grab a brew, sit back, and join us along the path as we explore more of Somerset. 🌿 Don't forget to Like, Subscribe, and hit the Bell to join our journey through nature, magick, seasonal celebrations and slow-living. ☕If you’re a regular then you know how much we love a brew, if you’d like to support our brew intake and get a cheers from us to you, you can now buy us a brew here- buymeacoffee.com/anamcaraadventures Anam Cara - Friends of the Soul.
