Thoughts disappear. Like clouds drifting across the endless sky, they come and go without leaving a trace. “The Thought Beyond Thought” is a peaceful, poetic Zen-inspired song exploring the Buddhist wisdom of mindfulness, non-attachment, and inner freedom. True stillness does not mean having no thoughts. It means observing them without following, resisting, or holding on. Through images of mountains, clouds, bamboo, flowing water, and moonlight, this song invites us to discover the quiet awareness beneath our changing thoughts. When the clouds disappear, the sky remains. When thoughts fade away, awareness remains. May this music bring peace to your heart. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🎼【English Lyrics — Poetic Adaptation】 The Thought Beyond Thought Intro Ah… Hmm… Clouds arrive— Simply watch. Clouds depart— Do not search. A thought arises… Then fades into stillness. Verse 1 Morning bells echo through distant hills, A gentle breeze passes bamboo blinds. A thousand thoughts arise within, Like ripples reflecting the open sky. No need to ask where they began, No need to hurry them away. Simply watch each passing thought— Welcome its arrival, Release it when it goes. Chorus The thought beyond thought— Is not the absence of thought. When thoughts arise, Be aware. When thoughts depart, Let them go. The thought beyond thought— Neither chasing nor clinging. The heart becomes a mirror, Reflecting endless moonlight. Verse 2 One thought comes, Another fades. A white cloud crosses green mountains. If we do not hold the passing clouds, The endless sky Is already free. Interlude Ah… Wu… Water has no intention, Yet reflects the perfect moon. The moon has no intention, Yet shines upon the world. Verse 3 Yesterday’s joys and sorrows fade, Tomorrow’s storms remain unknown. So many troubles begin with thoughts, One small attachment becomes a thousand. Falling flowers never question the branches, Flowing rivers never cling to yesterday. If worries may come and gently go— A cup of tea, A window of sky. Spoken Meditation A thought arrives— I know. A thought departs— I know. I do not follow it. I do not force it away. I simply watch— Clouds crossing the open sky. Final Chorus The thought beyond thought— Free from attachment. Wind moves through bamboo shadows, Moonlight rests beside the window. The thought beyond thought— Peacefully following life’s flow. Do not hold yesterday, Do not borrow tomorrow. Mountains remain mountains, The sky remains the sky. Thoughts arise and disappear, Yet the heart need not rise or fall. If you ask where peace can be found— Within this present moment, Without clinging to anything. Outro Ah… Hmm… The clouds have scattered… The sky remains. The thoughts have faded… Awareness remains. The thought beyond thought… An endless, Clear blue sky. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ©【Copyright & Credits】 Song Title: 無念之念 English Title: The Thought Beyond Thought Lyrics: Randy Lee 李宗倫 Music & Vocal: Generated by Suno AI Artwork: Created with ChatGPT AI Video Produced by Randy T.
