“I Feel Sorry For Them” | Daisy McAndrew on Captain Tom Moore 'Community' Spa Built By Daughter

Kevin O’Sullivan says: “Captain Tom shot to fame during the pandemic, walking 100 laps of his garden and raising £40 million. I’d advise them not to appeal the decision to knock down the spa, because it probably wouldn’t succeed.” “Tom raised the money thinking it was for the charity.” Daisy McAndrew says that she “feels sorry for them”. “The impression I get is of an ordinary family whose lives were utterly changed in a very short space of time. They were thrust into something that they managed very badly. They’ve made a serious of catastrophic misjudgements.” The family of Captain Sir Tom Moore has been ordered to demolish an unauthorised spa pool block at their home within three months. Hannah Ingram-Moore and her husband, Colin, lost an appeal against an order to remove the Captain Tom Foundation Building in the grounds of the property in Marston Moretaine, Bedfordshire, following a hearing last month. #captaintommoore #talktv #planning
