Has the appointed hour not dawned? •جارتْ بِنا الدُّنى وهتفنا بكَ الأمانْ The world’s cruelties have beset us; we cry out for your refuge. •لنْ نحيا كالعبيدِ ولنْ نَرضى بالهوانْ Never shall we endure the life of thralls, nor bow to the yoke of shame. •نحنُ جنو.دُ يومِ الـجـِ.ـهـَ.ـادِ We are the Day of J.i.h.a.d's w.a.r.r.i.o.r.s, •فُزنا هُنا ويومَ التَّنادِ Triumphant in this realm, and on the Day of Summoning. •شـُ.ـهـَ.ـدَاءً لكَ جِئْنا بِإِبانا As m.a.r.t.y.r.s, we come to thee proudly •بِلِوانا.......بِلِوانا With our banner ........With our banner •لكَ جُدْنا بِعطاءٍ وتَرانا To thee, we pour our offerings; and you see us •ونِدانا......ونِدانا And our call.......And our call •يا ثـَ.ـوْرَةً بِروحِ كُلِّ عاشقْ O R.e.v.o.l.u.t.i.o.n breathing in the soul of every lover •يا صيحةً بثَغرِ كُلِّ صادقْ O Clarion call upon the lips of the righteous •يا نبضةً بِقلبِ كُلِّ شائِقْ O Pulsing beat in the heart of every yearning soul. ‌ •أيا مهدينا O our Mahdi! (٢) •مِنْ تُربِ نينوى والعزمُ بِنا ارتوى From Nineveh's dust, our determination is quenched •مِن ثا.راتِ الغريبِ وَذا دَمعُنا رَوَى From the Stranger’s vengeance, our tears have flowed •صوتٌ بِقُرْبِهِ وَبِأَرضٍ لَهُ ثَوَى A voice echoes near him, in the land where he rests •نحنُ الفِدا بِيومِ الـشـَّـهـَ.ـادَهْ We are the ransom on the Day of M.a.r.t.y.r.d.o.m •نِلْنا المُنى وكُلَّ سعادهْ In it, we find our longing fulfilled and eternal bliss •وحمَلنا رايةَ الحقِّ لِوَانا We raised the banner of truth •بسمانا.....بسمانا In our sky.........In our sky •لِتَرِفَّ في المَلَا فَوْقَ قرانا May it wave high above our villages •ورجانا.......ورجانا And our hope.....And our hope •يا ماحِيًا لِجَوْرِ كُلِّ ظالمْ O Vanquisher of the tyrant’s tyrann •يا طالِبًا لِدَمِّ كُلِّ قاسمْ O Avenger of the blood of every Qasim •يا ثـَ.ـائـِ.ـرًا على طريقِ فاطِمْ O R.e.v.o.l.u.t.i.o.n.a.r.y on the path of Fatima •أيا مهدينا O our Mahdi! (٣) •نَرقَبُ فجرَكُمْ، فَمَتى سيدي القِيامْ؟ We await your dawn; oh Master, when shall the Uprising rise? •نمشي بِدَربِكُمْ، وعليكُمْ مِنّا سلامْ Upon your path we march, and upon you be our peace •نمضي ولا نَهابُ مِنَ الـمـَ.ـوْتِ والـلـِّـئـَ.ـام We press onward, fearing neither d.e.a.t.h nor t.r.e.a.c.h.e.r.y •نَفْد.ي وَحقِّ نحرِ الحُسينِ We sacrifice, by the sanctity of Hussein’s wounded throat •والكافِلِ قطيعِ اليدَينِ And by the severed-handed Protector •ونُناديكَ العَجَلْ قُمْ يا حِمانا We cry to thee: "Hasten!
