Alan Wake 2: Night Springs DLC Review

Right…so I can explain why my channel has been abandoned for about eight months…and…well…it’s not exactly one reason but about a billion little ones. I was working on another video about the Remedy Shared Universe and it’s got stuck in production hell. I was ill…for like…a month. I had to replace my computer. I’ve developed a MASSIVE dislike to my own voice and don’t want to have to listen to myself in the edit (I do sometimes make video instructions at my actual work and I’m having the same issue there, I’ve avoided editing anything). My real life has got in the way and…oh…uh…a little bit of laziness I suppose. When Night Springs was announced at Summer Games Fest I knew I wanted to review it – it was supposed to be easing myself back in. Considering Night Springs released well over a month ago it’s quite apparent that ‘easing in’ didn’t go entirely to plan (see above and not wanting to listen to the sound of my own voice). I’ve well and truly missed my window of opportunity with this one, haven’t I? The footage, the script and in fact my voice over audio were recorded within 24 hours of the DLC actually releasing so I’ve really dragged my feet. Please note, I’ve felt a massive irony at the fact that when I finally forced myself to sit down and edit this it took probably just over 24 hours with editing and adjustments – so in good news the new computer works great! However I did get it done…possibly a little less to do with reviewing the Night Springs DLC for Alan Wake 2 and a little more to do with the fact in the eight months I’ve been missing I’ve become a Jesse Faden fangirl and any excuse to discuss her. It’s been a wild eight months as you can tell. Anyway! Better late than never! My very brief review on the Night Springs! I’ll not promise to be back soon with another video…I’ll just say I’ll be back sooner or later!
