Why you should know about Reputation and Respect in TEW IX

TEW IX Handbook Explained – Episode 18: Respect, Reputation & What They REALLY Mean What’s the difference between Popularity, Experience, Respect and Reputation in TEW IX? They might all be numbers on a worker’s profile, but they represent very different things — and understanding those differences can completely change how you interpret your roster. In this episode of TEW IX Official Handbook Explained, we break down exactly what the official Handbook tells us about Respect and Reputation, including: 🔹 What Respect actually represents 🔹 How Respect develops over time 🔹 Why 50 Respect is an important starting point 🔹 How Popularity and Match Ratings affect Respect 🔹 Why 75+ match ratings can help increase Respect 🔹 How a wrestler can eventually reach 100 Respect 🔹 Why there is NO documented formula for Respect gains 🔹 How Respect can contribute to road-agent performance 🔹 How Respect can affect news importance and worker interactions 🔹 How Respect works for non-wrestlers 🔹 What Reputation actually measures 🔹 How Reputation develops and can decrease 🔹 Why Reputation is primarily used by the AI for business decisions 🔹 Why Reputation has NO DIRECT impact on matches or angles 🔹 Why high Experience does NOT automatically mean high Reputation or Respect 🔹 Why 100 doesn’t necessarily mean “perfect” 🔹 And, most importantly, what we actually KNOW — and what the Handbook doesn't tell us The goal of this series is simple: If the TEW IX Handbook tells us how a mechanic works, we'll explain it. If it doesn't give us the formula, we won't make one up. No TEW 2020 mechanics. No guessing. No invented formulas. Just what we can actually establish from the official TEW IX Handbook. 🎮 TEW IX is the latest wrestling industry simulator from Grey Dog Software. 💙 Support GS Gaming on Patreon Early access, mods, spreadsheets and more. 🔗 patreon.com/GSGaming316 🎮 Want to support the channel and get TEW IX?
