I went from wrestling my second professional match to being arrested the moment I landed in Japan. As soon as I left the airplane, I was taken into custody and spent 30 days in a Japanese jail, much of it in solitary confinement. No phone. No contact. No idea when I’d be released. Japan was supposed to be a short trip after a big milestone. Instead, I lost everything overnight.
