Call of Duty: WWII tried to recreate some of the biggest battles of World War II — from D-Day and the Hürtgen Forest to the Battle of the Bulge and the Rhine. But how historically accurate was the campaign actually? In this video, I went back through the Call of Duty: WWII campaign and compared what happens in the game to what actually happened in real life. We’ll look at inaccurate weapons, altered battles, the Tiger II encounter, Operation Cobra, Aachen, Remagen, and other details you probably never noticed. Some things COD WWII got surprisingly accurate… while others were completely changed for gameplay. How accurate do you think Call of Duty: WWII really was? Let me know what I missed in the comments.
