"Arise, Shine" (Reverent): Oct 12: Isaiah 48-66

#isaiah #biblemusic [Verse 1] Your children shall build the old waste places, You shall raise up the foundations of many generations, And you shall be called the repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in, For His covenant stands with your seed, and your seed's seed, From henceforth and forever, saith the Lord. [Pre-Chorus] The Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard, Against the enemy who comes in like a flood. [Chorus] Arise, shine, for thy light is come, The glory of the Lord is upon thee, The Redeemer shall come to Zion, Turn from transgression, He will set you free. The Lord shall be thine everlasting light, The days of thy mourning shall be ended, The Redeemer shall come to Zion, And all that was broken shall be mended. [Verse 2] I looked, and there was none to help, And I wondered that there was none to uphold, Therefore Mine own arm brought salvation. I trampled the wicked in anger, I have trodden the winepress alone. I am mighty to save, and My people shall be free. [Pre-Chorus 2] No more called Forsaken, no more called Desolate, For the Lord delights in you, and your land is betrothed. [Bridge] The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, Because the Lord hath anointed Me To preach good tidings unto the meek, To bind up the brokenhearted and the weak, To proclaim liberty to the captives bound, And open the prison, where the lost are found, To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, To comfort all that mourn, fulfilling His word. [Final Chorus] Arise, shine, for my light is come, The glory of my Lord is upon me, The Redeemer shall come to Zion, I turned from transgression and He set me free. The Lord is my everlasting light, The days of my mourning are ended, The Redeemer has come to Zion, And all that was broken is mended. [Outro] I will create a new heaven and a new earth, Behold, I make all things new. © 2026 Come Follow Hymn Project. All rights reserved. Inspired by Scripture. Written by Soul. Performed by AI.
