30 of the Most DANGEROUS Toys We Actually Played With in the 1960s

The 1960 had these vintage toys right in the 1966 Sears Christmas catalog: a metal casting set with real lead, a chemistry set with an alcohol lamp and a blow torch attachment, and a real electric iron for girls. Oh... and uranium. None of it was hidden. It was on the page, with a price. This is a walk through 30 dangerous toys American kids actually played with, the 1960s toys that filled the toy box, from the Creepy Crawlers Thingmaker, Easy-Bake Oven and Vac-U-Form to Lawn Darts, Clackers, the Johnny Seven O.M.A., the Water Wiggle and the Gilbert Atomic Energy Lab. Some were recalled. Some were rebuilt. Some became banned toys, made illegal to sell. It isn't a lecture about what anybody got wrong. It's the vintage toys the way they were, and the childhood memories that came with them. Which of these did you own? Tell me in the comments.
