Aug 29, 2026: Apply more KHCO3 to foliage for PM, add RAGE fertilizer to encourage strong roots.

This weekend, I treated all the roses with another dose of potassium bicarbonate to try to keep the powdery mildew and black spot under control. I also did some minor pruning, tying in of the climbers and deadheading. I applied evolve RAGE fertilizer to all the plants, 0-0-6. I went to the garden centre to buy another bottle of RAGE and ended up getting a few perennials that were on sale. I finally banished the unsightly Artemisia to the front yard. I got a new type of Salvia (Rockin' Blue Suede Shoes), Amsonia (Storm Cloud), and Veronica (Little Blue). It looks like the roses are really gearing up for a good showing in September as there are lot and lots of buds around.
