The Tin Cup (Outlaw Folk)

“The Tin Cup” is a song about two years of quiet saving, one coin at a time, and the sewing machine it finally bought. She nailed a tin cup under the kitchen window and dropped her extra coins in it every week, counting them on Sundays when the house was quiet. The day it filled up, she carried it to town in a flour sack and bought the machine she’d wanted, and that machine became a business that dressed half the county. Her daughter keeps a tin cup of her own now. This is a story about patience, small coins, and the life they build. 🎸 Original outlaw folk song written and performed by Annie Dune 🌵 New songs every week, subscribe to follow the story #OutlawFolk #OutlawCountry #Americana #IndieFolk #FolkMusic #NewMusic #AnnieDune #TheTinCup
