FIRST WIN OF THE SEASON! Matchday Vlogs / S5 E3 / PRESTON NORTH END vs Blackburn Rovers

Matchday Vlogs Season 5 Episode 3 Preston North End vs Blackburn Rovers Saturday 5th September 2026 Sky Bet Championship Venue: Deepdale KO: 12:30 FIRST WIN OF THE SEASON! After a dismal start to the season, PNE headed into this local derby against Blackburn Rovers really needing to win, not just because it was a local derby but because we needed to get points on the board. And some of the promise shown in the Bristol City game (see S5 E2) was back on display as PNE raced into a 2-0 lead. Blackburn pulled one back after half time making for an edgy second half but North End held on to seal the victory and the first three points of the season. Onwards and upwards from here!
