10 Rock Legends Who Died Before 40 — The Dark Truth Behind Rock's Greatest Losses A drummer dies in the very same London flat where another music star had died four years earlier, at exactly the same age. A singer's friends steal his coffin from an airport and burn it in the desert. And a grunge legend lies alone for two weeks before anyone finds him, on the same date Kurt Cobain died eight years before. Ten rock legends, and not one of them reached forty. In this video: Keith Moon, Gram Parsons, Jim Croce, Andrew Wood, Hillel Slovak, Phil Lynott, Jeff Buckley, Bon Scott, John Bonham, Layne Staley. Ten stories, and the dark truth behind each of them. If one of them meant something to you, leave their name in the comments so they are remembered, and subscribe for more.
