60009 Union of South Africa "Dorset Coast Xpress" steams through the heatwave to Weymouth 25/07/19

On the 25th July 2019 The Railway Touring Company laid on a summer day trip from London Victoria to Weymouth special the "DORSET COAST EXPRESS" using the steam train LNER 4-6-2 (60009) Union of South Africa with the supporting diesel loco class 47 (47802). The departure time for this day trip from London Victoria was timed for around 08:45am. In this video you see her passing through Millbrook Station at around 12:02pm on the 1st leg of the journey to Weymouth with a working id: 1Z82. On the return leg from Weymouth with a departure time of around 16:35pm & with a working id: 1Z84 we see her passing through Redbridge Railway Station at around 18:21pm being pulled by (47802) to Southampton Central Station where she took control again and passed back through Redbridge Station around 18:39pm taking the tour back towards London Victoria via Romsey, Andover & Basingstoke reaching London Victoria just before 22:30pm.
