THE WORM BITE WAS INSANE…THEN A PLANE LANDED ON THE DUNES

A Potholes Reservoir dune mission that got a little weird, in the best possible way. 🎣 The worm bite was absolutely insane, with bass stacked up around the dunes and eating like they had somewhere to be. But the fishing was only part of the show. Somewhere between catching fish, I watched a deer standing out in the water trying to keep its distance from a group of coyotes, so far out it honestly looked like it was walking on water. Then, because apparently the day wasn’t random enough already, a small plane came in and landed right on a sand dune. Big bass. Worms on the dunes. A deer running water-defense.
