Flirting with Jaissle (ball): Vertical Newcastle, expectation and reality

The Daily Telegraph's Luke Edwards stands in for George Caulkin as we reach the first international break of the season, and it's a long one! Luckily, Newcastle got their first home win of the Premier League season by beating Hull City on Saturday and the squad can enjoy their three week hiatus from the top half of the table. But, is the positive start sustainable?
