I have 10 earthworks to do, the most important of which is digging an approximately 120-meter trench for drainage to remove ground water from the house's foundation. In this episode, we will also be repairing 300 meters of our access road. Currently it has made a high hump and our car is rubbing the road with its undercarriage. I also have other minor work to do - improving the riverbed, repairing the caravan driveway and a few others intresting projects. #Damdyla habitat #earthworks #excavator #housedrainage #Frenchdrainage 00:00 Delivery of equipment - excavators and wheeled dumpers from the rental company. 00:39 I draw a map of our habitat and explain the scope of work to be done with the excavator. 02:10 I replace the bucket in the excavator and make the first excavation. I check whether there will be water in the pond. 03:48 I'm starting the first excavation for the French drainage. 08:47 I start digging along the house. 12:27 I'm digging a hole along the lower slope and improving the side entrance to the upper meadow. 14:32 I am improving the ramp for the caravan and leveling the area for the terrace. 17:30 I am improving the access road to the habitat. 19:00 I remove the compost from under the farm building. 20:28 I'm finishing the excavations for the drainage. 26:01 I correct the exit from our road to the lowest meadow. 28:23 I am digging the ford on the stream. 30:33 I'm unblocking a clogged culvert under the bridge on the stream. 31:11 I wash the equipment before returning it to the rental company.
