Traditional Oak Gate and Fence with Hand Forged Hardware

I made this little ornamental fence with gate for a client out of European oak and hand forged hardware, like hinges, latch and nails. Decorative lead covered post finials inspired by the English company Jack Badger Ltd. I will get comments about the brace of the gate going from the hinges downward instead of upward. I get where that comes from, but still think this is fine. At the installation you see me put patination oil on the lead and linseed oil on the front of wood, the client will oil the rest.
