Méabh McKenna | The Sounds of Ireland

Petites Planènes present "Fuiam na hÉireann / The Sounds of Ireland" In collaboration with ‪@blogotheque‬ Méabh McKenna - Live in Kells Priory, Killkenny, Ireland, August 2026 Filmed & edited by ‪@vincentmoon‬ Made with the help of Lindain Kaninska, Keep Her Lit Festival & Friends "Fuaim na hÉireann / The Sounds of Ireland" is a new collection of 15 musical recordings filmed across Ireland this summer by nomadic filmmaker Vincent Moon. Until St. Patrick’s Day, we’ll take you on a journey through the best musical moments he captured during his four-week stay in the country. Here is our encounter with one of Ireland’s most fascinating young musicians, ‪@meabh.mckenna‬, performing on her harp among the ruins of the magnificent Kells Priory. You might remember her from ‪@aoifenessafrances9853‬'s autumnal Take Away Show during which she had already enchanted us with her cascading harp glissandos. — Want to see more?
