Rostock Seawolves - Riga Zelli | Round 2 | BKT EuroCup Basketball 2026-27

Rostock recorded its first-ever EuroCup win by topping Zelli 87-86 in Group A at Stadthalle Rostock in Round 2 on Tuesday. Both teams now have 1-1 records in Group A. Owen Klassen and Artur Konontsuk led the winners with 14 points apiece. Klassen added 12 rebounds. Zach Copeland scored 13, including the game-clinching free throws with 1.2 seconds remaining. Tony Perkins paced Zelli with 35 points and 6 steals for a PIR of 42. Martynas Varnas netted 14 points for Zelli, which led 64-66 at halftime. Tyler Wahl tied the game, 83-83, with over a minute left. Konontsuk and Copeland were perfect from the foul line, making Varnas's buzzer-beating three-pointer not enough to win the game.
