Original WWOR-TV 9 Broadcast with Ralph Kiner, and Tim McCarver recorded and Digitalized off a pre recorded VHS tape and was later converted through a DVD burner (2002) since the original VHS tape was recorded in EP mode there are occasional jump cuts and audio skips (DVD burner didn't read the signal) this game has been restored best I could with the DVD I had to work with and has been added to the phenia films MLB archives for the first time. From a Foggy night at Shea Stadium as the Padres come into NY for the quick two game series its Derek Lilliquist getting the start for San Diego and Dwight Gooden for the Mets. Rick Cerone goes 3 for 3 knocking in one run and scoring twice while Howard Johnson hits his 4th HR in the 4th inning as the Game is soon delayed by Fog in the sixth inning, and after a hour and a half fog delay the game resumes play until the bottom of the seventh as the game is called by home plate umpire Jim Quick as the Fog continues to roll in and no signs of leaving Shea Stadium the official game is called while giving the Mets their third win in a row, Doc Gooden earns his third win of the season (3-1) and the Padres Derek Lilliquist suffers the loss (0-1) *Also includes This Week in Baseball segment 1991 (7min) Boxscore https://www.retrosheet.org/boxesetc/1...
