During this Gangotri Dham Yatra, there was almost no traffic and no crowd on the roads. The entire route from Harshil to Gangotri was surrounded by stunning Himalayan mountains and breathtaking landscapes. One of the most beautiful parts of this journey was the Bhagirathi River. The water was crystal clear with an amazing greenish-blue colour, making the views even more spectacular. When we finally reached Gangotri Dham, the atmosphere was unbelievably calm and peaceful. Since the Gangotri Temple doors are closed for the winter season, darshan is not possible at this time. However, if you want to experience the silence, natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere of Gangotri without the usual tourist crowds, this season offers a completely different experience.
