This presentation shares the migration to Alma Digital, including format incompatibilities, metadata remediation, functionality changes, copyright considerations prompted by AI web crawlers, and practical lessons about documentation, collaboration and working within commercial platforms. About the presenters Sara Sladwick is a Digital Library Specialist at Waipapa Taumata Rau | University of Auckland, working with Alma, Primo, Rapido, Specto and other library systems. Patricia Velasquez is a Digital Library Specialist at the University of Auckland, focusing on library systems, digital services and technology-enabled workflows. Patricia holds a PhD in Information Systems and has more than a decade of library experience.
